FOF #186 - Food of the Gods - 11.01.05

Lots of talk about one of our favorite subjects, FOOD. One of our FOF Faves, Miss Ronnie joins Marc and Fausto to talk about food, candles (yes, its yet ANOTHER nod to Mike Hipp) and our fans.
Does Ronnie have X-Ray superpowers? What's new with Crystal Meth addicts today? If you were a wayfard fag, would you shack up with Ronnie? If you were a pork kabob how big would you be?
Happy All-Saint's-Day y'all.

Hey ya'll
thanks for the shoutout today on the show. I'm glad you liked the candles that I sent you.
If you think that I'm getting too much exposure on your show... you're welcome to start referring to me as "the hardest working podcaster without a podcast"
I'm kidding! I'm a kidder :)
Seriously though... love the Miss Ronnie, Fausto you and Marc rock. Love the show.

Oh, Miss Ronnie! I am so glad you've come back to do more shows with these boys. There should be a special edition FoF T-shirt that's been pre-worn by Miss Ronnie, or at least a little BMW kiss logo added somewhere! I would so buy that!

Fausto you told me to post a comment on here one time, doing this for you mate!
You said your Mc Donalds is going to print nutritional information on their packaging? They have been doing that here in Australia for a couple of months now.
Ms Ronnie, I love you babe.

Great show today - everytime I hear Miss Ronnie's voice it just warms my heart - she sounds so much like my good friend, Wanda - not only in what she says and how she says it, but what her voice literally sounds like, too - that it just boggles my mind. Putting them in the same room together would most definitely be a Two Peas in a Pod experience. And about the alcholism and sugar connection, former fitness queen Susan Powter wrote a book about this very subject that fits in with some of what you all were saying - it's called "Sober...and Staying That Way : The Missing Link in The Cure for Alcoholism" - I've not read it myself but I've read about it:

First off: I live that close to Mike Hipp (Sandy Springs is basically the next borough over from Norcross). I cannot tell whether this is a good or a bad thing. Maybe we could team up to do a podcast or... have a slapfight to the death or something.
Second off: I love miss Ronnie. She wins at life.
Third off: Ignore the 'p' when you are pronouncing my name. Sy-ton, sigh-ton, Think of it like a ton of sighs...
This show makes me happy. Miss Ronnie makes me happy. Possible soy candles a short drive away makes me happy.

You mention a friend named Alan Gentry in the post - I am trying to locate a friend of mine named Alan Gentry, formerly from Grand Rapids, MI and SW Detroit, MI before that. So Alan - if you read this I hope you get in touch with me.
Always,
