FOFA - #87 - Lesbianville Soundseeing Tour - 11.22.05

Completely unedited our very first Soundseeing tour which the reporter for the Red Eye Chicago called "impressive."
Check out the amazing serendipity as we leave our house and visit the people in our neighborhood.

FOFA - #1 - Gay Superbowl Wednesday - 11.22.05

Our very first podcast. Crude, rude and out of lube, you can hear the bitter anger in our voices as we talk about how awful Bill Cosby's Fat Albert movie really was, and how crappy the Superbowl Halftime Show really was.
Listen as we struggle with our microphone, sound levels, figure out how to talk on the air, awkwardly move forward into the medium of podcasting. Not for the faint of heart!
Listening to this show makes me realize how much has changed in the news in just 200 shows and in podcasting in general.

On this podcast is our very own Taylor E Ross joining Marc and Fausto.

Victoria Lamarrs name is Matthew? She's a man? Wait! I'm confused! Okay, not really, I still love her, it was just weird hearing you guys call her Matthew. LOL!
Thanks for what is probably the world's first podcast rerun! :-)

Okay, Joel. Mathew was "revealed" as a slip by Link Pinks during #200. It was simply confirmed by the re-run. And actually, wasn't "Riding the Bus" with Rosie officially the first "rerun?" All this reflection makes me think you (Fausto and Marc) should host an FoF triva contest. A quiz. That hot new calendar would make a nice grand prize... Hmmmmm....
LOVED hearing about the "Versaci Mansion!" That was truly a great FoF moment, dearies! I can't wait to visit it! Actually, it would be another wonderful idea to have an FoF tour of Chicago - all the places of FoF relevence! Kind of like what they do in San F. with the Maupin TOTC tours....
Love - and Happy Thanksgiving! My best to Pat and the family!
Love; Ciao

I LOVED THIS SHOW! I've never heard it before. Thanks for re-running it.
I used to live across the street from the Versace mansion (1427 Berwyn) and there were always some interesting characters going and coming from that place. In fact, there was a guy who lived in the building next to the main mansion (also owned by the same guy) who used to stand in his living room window and play with himself in full view... in broad daylight. Oh yeah... GOOD TIMES. :)

Aww thanks Aaron B! When are you coming to Chicago? We'd love to have cocktails with you.
The Feast of Fools trivia game sounds good. We're planning on doing some fun game show stuff soon, once we raise enough funds to get a new computer!
In the meanwhile, enjoy these Classic shows which are a total blast.

Oh RcktMan– I just love that you know all those delicious details from that tacky house in Andersonville.
You guys know about the concrete store on Clark Street? They mostly sell all sorts of gargoyles, statues, etc.. their slogan (which is in a form of a glowing neon sign) it reads: "For the Person Who Has Everything, Say It with Concrete."
