FOF #272 - Miss Understood Goes to Thailand - 03.22.06

Our lovely gal-pal Miss Understood pictured on the right joins us today to talk about her month-long trip to Thailand, Thai food, massage parlors, drag queens, trannies, costumes, and why Thai people are so laid back.
Also, Marc and Fausto speculate on Clay Aikens woes and Archbishop Skeletor's (Cardinal Francis George) body language yesterday when the results of the study done on sexual molestation in the Catholic church in Chicago and all the cover-up that was done. Let's just say he's not a happy man.

You guys are hilarious. But really, you have to refrain from trying to do English accents, or at least watch some TV shows and get some practise in! May I recommend getting Footballers Wives or No Angels episodes to study? Good examples of lovely common English everyday folk. :-S
Keep up the AWESOME work, you guys keep me sane. And if I had a myspace I'd add you.

Happy Birthday Marc's MoM!!!!
Great show... It seems like the shows are getting FUNNNIER!!! I cant help but laugh out loud at each and every joke.. I think the funniest momemt was on yesterday's show the sound you made when they "turned on the cryogenic machine"--
I know a lot of Madonna fans, Cant wait to hear about this later on from them..hahaha...
Love you guys...
Mike

Marc:
So damn proud of you buddy, remembering mine and pup Don's comments about power exchanges! For that, you'll get extra time on the cross (evil grin). Happy B-day to your mom too!
Fausto, the only thing exchanging in that kiss was venom baby, not energy! Well, maybe the energy drink Madonna had before the show, but that would just turn to extra venom...
Keepin it kinky in S. Cal,
Buzz

OMG, yes! Your correspondents of kink are here with a cage full of info. Marc, I have to agree with you that Madonna might be a kinkster herself. Remember the SEX book? Or the Erotica video? Or that one where she's spanking the puppy (yes, I did watch that one more than once). But I don't really know about a "power exchange" between Madonna and Ms. Spears. But who knows what went on during rehearsals. Heh heh.
But kudos to you for remembering that, Marc. It's good to know that Buzz and I are teaching you, expanding your horizons and perverting you all at the same time.
Oh,and pardon me while I rant:
I have to say I'm outraged at those idiots trying to sue the record company over Clay. It reminds me of those dumbasses who returned the Milli Vanilli albums in the 80's. You know, you bought the damn record/CD because you liked the crappy music to begin with. Don't try and turn tail just because you can get media attention for it. You just want something you can brag about to your friends around the water cooler. You know what, you buy crappy music, now deal with it!!! I mean, I could take back my Cher CD because she doesn't really believe in life after love. And I'm gonna return my Brian Adams cassette because in the summer of 69 he was eight years old! Lies, it's all lies, I tell you! And I'll be Trent Reznor isn't really miserable. In fact, he probably smiles a lot. I'm returning all my Nine Inch Nails CD's! And I'll bet Sandra Berhnard isn't really a dyke... um... no, I'm wrong there. She really is a dyke. I'll keep "Without You I'm Nothing", but I'm returning "I'm Your Woman", just because my turntable broke.
Okay, I'm done. Thank you very much, try the veal.
Much Love And Puppy Licks,
pup don

I don't see the link for the survey...

I just have to say that Rochelle is the coolest chick I've met here so far. She helped me put the link into the button for FOF on my MySpace profile so people can click on it and it actually does something. You'd think I would know how to do that since I work with this stuff every day. LOL!

The next time you feel the urge to dog Madonna, Fausto, I want you to ask yourself "how much of my paycheck am I willing to donate to AMFAR, Breast Cancer Research, and AIDS Projects in various major cities?" Besides this, Madonna is so fucking hip that you just come off as bitter and jealous.

Miss Understood is such a great, well-spoken, articulate and insighful guest! I loved all her observations on Thailand and Asia. The food bit was best. It's just like Mexican food. What you get in the U.S. is an incomplete and small version of the full variety of foods you get in the real place. Miss Understood, can you take us FOF listeners on a mass field trip to Thailand?

Hey Sweeties, I look forward to seeing you guys in NYC ... if I can afford it before my trip to Key West.
But, as for star trek: I have a different opinion about the races:
Romulans=Romans, they were very political and would kill thier mother political powers.
Klingons=Japanese both valued honor, and would kill you if you disprected them, or besmirched their honor. And they always talk about 'the house of'
Ferengi's weren't jews, they were capitalists ... anything for a buck.
That's what I got out of it.

I don't know if you boys have been to the thai restaurant Sticky Rice, on Western at Irving Park, but I heard that they have some food that goes beyond the standard Thai fare -- including fried insects! I don't know, I've never been there myself. The bugs scared me off. But I have a friend who raves about the food there.
On another note -- I was reading the FreePress on the el this morning, and halfway through Gregg Shapiro's article there were a bunch of words missing... I blame you Fausto, Mr. graphic designer! But I have to forgive you, cause you're so darn cute. Watch it with the text wrap next time... It cut off part of the article about Neko Case.
I love the show -- thank you for making my mornings a hell of a lot more interesting!

I go to school in the Bronx. If you guys want to see stuff there I am offering to personally bring you on a tour of the projects as well as The Bronx Zoo, The New York Botanical Gardens, and whatever else you want to see. I think it would be hilarious to see V-Marr acting naughty in front of the elephant cage.....
