FOF #296 - Cleopatra was a Hairy Beast - 04.25.06

You always learn new things from podcasts. On today's show, two of our favorite animal rights activits, Mike Brazel and Sebastian Zoech drive all the way to Chicago to hang out with Ronnie, Marc and Fausto to talk about their adventures on the road.
It seems that PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) spends some money sending these handsome young men to small towns to help raise awareness of animal rights and vegetarianism. And considering how handsome and cute these guys are, who wouldn't want to listen?
On today's show Miss Ronnie opens up fab fan tribute packages, and reveals to us that the REAL Cleopatra was in fact a hairy ape. The "beautiful" Egyptian woman everyone thinks about was actually Queen Nefretiti, a totally different person.
Check out these lovely pics taken at Fausto and Marc's place.
Oh by the way, here is the link to the "Terremoto" lady, Lola (La Terremoto Del Alcorcón.)

Miss Ronnie, for getting a case of Sugar Free Red Bull you sure didn't scream very loud. I cannot believe I got out-gifted by a Curves T-shirt. This means war!
Said by: Mike Hunt at April 25, 2006 05:20 PM
And Fausto, I'll buy one of the new t-shirts when they go on sale.
What's with the hater above :(

I've been having an ongoing dialogue with my friends lately about my (lack) of a love-life. I realized a few months ago that I do indeed crave a relationship. When I meet a guy, the first thing I think is how well we might work as a couple. And if I don't get a good response back, I can't help but be preoccupied by how I might change his mind, as if it's a choice on his part not to like me. Now that I've identified this as an underlying problem in my outlook on boys, I've been trying to be consciously aware of it. Even if just by knowing that I'm thinking it, I can help to avoid these obsessive and possibly destructive feelings in the future. Any thoughts on how to do this?

BTW, Mr. "yousuck", in my circles the term "cockface" is a compliment. So like it or not you just got me all hot and bothered, and now I'm going to listen to my favorite podcast again. Thank you very much.

Dear Mike, to be very honest with you, I am always amazed and touched at the outpour of our FOF listeners.
Being a former "big" girl, that Curves t-shirt is only symbolic of how far I came to where I am at this point, however that sugar-free case of Red Bull is what's going to keep me on track! Thank you handsome.
Blessings from your BMW (Big Mexican Woman.)

Hello
I have to say that I love your show and have been a great fan for montsh but I would have to say I wish that Fausto and Ms Ronnie had not made the comments about Nate and the loss of his lover to that tragic event - it was very poor taste - thanks for Marc for curtailing it - the rest of the show was great

Hi guys! I've been listening to you guys for a while now... you guys are absolutely hilarious! Everytime my pathetic part-time job at school got too soporific, Miss Ronnie busts out one of her funny lines and everyone in the office stares at me laughing :-p
Anyways, I was wondering if you guys have heard of downelink.com... I've always wanted to join your frappr or myspace, but I'm still in the closet and my siblings are on all those sites... downelink, on the other hand, is like a gay myspace... it's exclusively for gay people and requires login for ppl to browse thru it... so I'm safe there :-D Have you guys thought about opening a page there for those of us still in the closet?
Keep up the good work :-)

RR- I know Nate personally and hope my light humor at his terrible loss was not an offense to him. (I haven't had a chance to talk with him after his experience, he's been a very private person since for good reason.) He is a sweet gentle guy who went through a horrible experience with dignity and class.
Our humor is just a way to cope with the tragic loss, that's all. Fernando Bengoechea seemed like a lovely person and it must have broken Nate's heart to suffer such a terrible loss.

Ms. Ronnie, I love you, you have got the best random facts and seem like a genuinely sweet person.
Fausto, you make me laugh, "Cuz she has hairy titties." You people make the world a better place, I swear to god.
