Anthony and I saw that giant Mary! It was one of the craziest things....here we were, driving home form Target one night, and we see a giant Mary peering over the roof tops. Very odd and cool at the same time.

That bisexual study mentioned seems pretty unreliable. The scientists doing this study should have taken this into account that 'bisexual' can mean different thinkgs for different people when they gathered their test subjects. The follow-up study should ask particpants beforehand whether they masturbate to gay porn, str8 porn, bi porn or all of the above, and not just whether they identify as bisexual. It just seems disingenuous to study for genital stimulation to porn when you only asked the subject if they identify as bisexual, not whether they pop a woody while watching girl-on-girl or guy-on-guy porn.

Someone needs to do a study about how truthful are people when asked about their sexuality on studies!

Belive me, not all "straight" men are straight, etc... since there is so much stigma associated with your sexual orientation, these studies need to take into account people not being truthful.

On the Bisexual study ... given my vast study over the years on porn I'd say it might be because gay porn is just better produced andgenerally has a good beat that you can dance too! Plus the actors in hetero porn aren't near a hot. How could these guys not get harder with thegay porn????

The Statue of Mary wasat my church a fewyearsback. Theres a really long story on it but I really doubt he's hauling in lots of cash on it.

Netherlands person, is it too late to give you still more 'love' advice? Remember that it's not your fault that you couldn't/didn't get the information you need from your ex friend. It's not until the last few years that information/learning about how to confront difficult issues in a constructive way in relationships has become more accessible. My parents certainly didn't role model it for me, and as Fausto's mom, his dad and I for sure didn't for our kids! It's very easy to tell someone to accept that 'shit happens, get over it'; it's an entirely a different matter to actually do it! One way I have found is to dream about it - actively tell yourself that that person will let you know, whether directly or indirectly, why your relationship didn't work out in your dreams, and one night, voilà, there is your answer! You do need closure to this to be able to move on... Keep talking!
Marc, I guess you know that many religious sites in Mexico are actually built over ancient Aztec religious sites. The Virgin of Guadalupe 'appeared' on the same spot that was sacred to the Aztec goddess Tonantzin; the Cathedral in Mexico City is likewise built over the most sacred space in Aztec culture. This was done deliberately by the Jesuits and other religious orders to entice the natives into accepting their religion. They did the same thing in India and China. I guess the Mexicano priests will learn not to get crosses built out of lightning-attractive materials, whadyou think?!
