FOFA #256 - Openly Clay - 07.06.06

"Quarter turns! Quater turns!" Everyone asks us on what episode the hilairous phrase "Quarter Turns" came from and just WHAT does it mean?
Well lovely and loyal Feast of Fools listeners, today we revisit a Classic Feast of Fools Podcast "Openly Clay" where the phrase "Quarter Turns" was forged from the heat of passion. Listen and find out!
[Originally posted on February 28, 2006.]
Victoria Lamarr and Marc Felion put their comedic skills and their southern accents to work to recreate the infamous recent Clay Aiken alledged sex scandal. This little sketch is based on details that Jon Paulus, the man who claims to be holding Clay Aiken's cumrag, has given to the press.
What happened on that infamous first date when Clay met John? Listen and find out.
Lots of magic moments with Garageband 3, sound effects, and the ability of mind to imagine the sound of rain to transform into the sound of a hot skillet. V-marr squeals in delight with all the new bells and whistles.
We also discuss some freaky news about urine filled dildos, George Michael gets arrested again and a man who marries a goat!

Check out this month's (July) issue of Cosmopolitan, featuring a piece about "62 Ways To Blow His Mind In Bed":
"I'll never forget the time a girl commanded me to lie still during woman-on-top while she turned an entire 360 degrees with me inside her. I felt every inch of her." —Wade, 27
I wonder if the girl stopped at every quarter turn?

Hey guys. Great classic show. You know, I was wondering. There are a lot of us who have been around for less than a year. Any chance of you reposting a vintage FOF episode. I'd love to hear your first show. Or a show from your first six months. Or how about a request poll. I came in too late to hear the John Waters episode but I'd looooove to. Just a thought.
With all the love in my heart (and a little bit from my big toe),

OMG Fausto ... classic FOF! I loved this show when it first aired and was blown away by it yet again. I loved the skit at the beginning. Everytime I hear the words "quarter" or "turns", I break into a big smile.
I hope you didn't get scared by anymore big spiders last night ... talk to you soon.

Okay, that opening skit is just genius. You guys need to do something like that more often!
Quarter turns! Ah...the memories and the laughter.

The opening to this episode is one of the strangest ever, and yet it is one of my favorites. V-Marr and Marc have just sick enough senses of humor that they work together well. Great reminder of why this is my #1 favorite podcast!

The event never happened, it was all fan fic and Aiken was in New York on Jan 2. He(CA) has witnesses seeing him there and photos at RCA.
Never happened, totally fabricated.
