Marsian De Lellis is in many ways in touch with something magical. We're just not sure what that is, but in all his outlandish talk about full-body botoxes and Whole Foods Express at the airports, he makes a lot of sense. If you ask me, the guy's a freakin genius.
On today's show Marsian, our in-house resident Truman Capote, who just happened to be in town to promote the Handmade Puppet Dreams Film Series.
Marsian, Marc and I share our predictions for 2007, things we are just SURE that will happen. How do we know these things? Let's just say we're REALLY good guessers. We're the kind of people you want at a horse race.
What colors will people be obsessing about? Will the iPhone be a dud? Will it be used for good or evil? What kind of horrific plastic surgery trends can we see? Who will Jennifer Aniston be having sex with next? You can wait for the future to roll around like a boring person or listen to todays show and find out now! The far-distant future is now just around the corner, waiting inside your iPod (or Zune, Dell DJ, etc...)

Another prediction for 2007:
-The FOF gang wins at least 2 or more awards!!!
-Buzz finally makes it to Chicago for IML for the first time.

Ok my predictions for 2007 are, with all the celebrities explosing themselves, anal bleaching and pre-pube crotches (c/o laser hair removal) will make a huge comeback. Showing ones cooch just won't cut it anymore, we're going to be seeing some celebrity starfish. We'll also see a rise in labial reduction procedures, because nobody wants to see meat curtains at the checkout stand on the front page of the Inquirer.

fucktard is going to be the word of 2007, I already use it and i think it will catch on, even the straights enjoy saying fucktard, maybe it will even cut down on the use of the word gay for derrogatory comments?

I prefer "Celebutard" myself. It explains clearly what it is, whearas f*cktard is a bit mean and sounds more like an insult and not a descriptive word.

What I loved most about the 2006 prediction show, By DestroyerOfWorlds:
1.) I love listening to Marsian's voice
2.) The irreverence of the predictions ex. "I'm just saying cutting is cool"
3.) Hilarious anecdotes ex. Cookie Puss
4.) Marsian's magic wand
5.) the word "drop" I used it like ten million times this year
to name a few. =)

Nothing to do with this episode (sorry, haven't heard it yet...) but George Takei was on The Daily Show tonight (January 16th), talking about a United States Congressman comparing the war in Iraq to Star Trek, in particular Vulcans and Klingons. They started out talking to Leonard Nimoy, but Takei "beeped" in on call waiting.
His parting phrase when told he was interrupting Nimoy and kinda felt he wasn't good enough of a "telephone voice"?
"Takei out. Motherf(#*$@!"

since apple just can't stop coming out with new merchandise, i predict that putting "i" in front of things is going to sky rocket . iwater, icandy, ishirts, etc. i don't think that apple is going to actually produce these products, but i guarantee more and more people are going to start using "i" as a prefix.
