I had no idea this joke would have such far-reaching consequences. I know we have some dedicated fans, but I didn't think we could inspire tears (even tears of laughter).

Seriously, I didn't think anyone would believe me. Take that Mr. Warthen, my high school drama teacher!

I'm a Pisces...we don't do clean breaks like that. If I were leaving, I'd show up less and less and lowly fade away and you'd never notice I was gone.

I love you all, I really do, and it broke my heart yesterday to read all the kind wishes for a future that I totally invented inside my tiny little brain.

April Fool's Day is my second favorite holiday, but the worst I've ever done was to convince my mom I was at the airport for a surprise visit. I also liked the anti-fool, where I would bring a bag jelly beans to school or work and offer them to people with absolutely no fooling involved, but everyone assumed it was a trick so I'd end up with a bag still full of jelly beans at the end of the day.

You guys ate up all my jelly beans.

So for all of you who wished me well and actually believed that a shrill bitch like me could get her own show...blessings. I'm very lucky to be on the Feast of Fools whenever Fausto and Marc will have me, and I plan to keep showing up until they kick me out.

For everyone that says it wasn't on April 1st; the show was posted on 2007-04-01 at 23:51:08. We even talk about how it's the "Feast of Fools" Holiday and its origin.

For those that criticize my acting ability by saying I don't sound upset enough-I honestly wouldn't be upset if Amanda left the show to pursue "bigger" things. I'd be happy for her if she moving forward in her career and trying new things. If she were leaving because she wanted to watch more tv, that would upset me.

Amanda gets what we do here and has a lot of respect for it. What makes me upset is people that don't get it, don't want to participate or just plain disregard it.

Loved the show although we figured it had to be a prank i still had a little twinge in the back of my head worred that amanda was leaving. anyways we have been listening to the show for over a year now and this is the first time posting. WE LOVE THE SHOW!. Sirius, Radio, and other podcasts do not compare you guys are so far ahead of everything else. OMG, i was listening to the feast of fools episode 503. I loved the show, it was amazing. i was working at the time and i was cleaning something when amanda announced that she was leaving. MY ipod fell out of my hand, i had to rewind it several times in order to make sure that she wa saying the truth. I was horrified. a feast of fools without amanda? its a crime. my heart beat faster and faster, i was sooo depressed, im not even joking. i heard her crying and i believed it all. i was so horrified i wanted to start crying myself. however i started listening to the next show on my ipod, and sure enough the title just kidding and the picture of amanda cheered up my day and made me love her even more. the feast of fools wouldnt be what it is without all of you guys. i effing love you and if any of you leave I will hunt you down, stick you to a chair and strap a microphone to you. i love you guys and keep on dooing. next paycheck i'm gonna share some money through paypals. i love you!!!! oh and i want to fuck sal-e, please tell him that. lol
