CHICAGO, IL – We’re thrilled to announce that Feast of Fun won the 2009 People’s Choice Podcast Award for “Best GLBT” podcast.
This is the fourth year in a row that the daily talk show hosted by Fausto Fernós and Marc Felion won in the “Best GLBT” podcast category in the People’s Choice Podcast Awards. Feast of Fun is a mix of social news, rising trends, in-depth interviews and live music sessions, described as “the best of the net in real-time with a gay slant.”
Host Fausto Fernós says: “In a tough year full of highs and lows for the GLBT community, we’re thrilled to be part of a sweeping change in how New Media is affecting the cultural and political landscape of the nation and the world.

Co-host Marc Felion says “This award is a tribute to everyone at Feast of Fun, including every guest on the show, the faithful listeners that have supported us and our sponsors who understand the value our message of inclusivity. We thank you because we couldn’t have done it with out you!”
The People’s Choice Podcast Awards are an annual set of awards given to the best podcasts as voted by the general public. Run by Podcast Connect Inc., the Podcast Awards have been given out since 2005.
Fausto Fernós and his partner Marc Felion spearheaded the podcasting revolution in February 2005 with their daily comedy talk show, the Feast of Fun, formerly know as Feast of Fools. The name change reflects changes to the website which includes user submitted content in the “Fresh” section of the website.
Feast of Fun is available for free through the iTunes Music store.
