Did you hear the one about the egg-shaped Russian robocop? As far as we know, this is a true story.
A Russian six-foot tall egg-shaped robot, hailed by the Russian police force as a bold new crime fighting tool broke down on it’s first day on the job, not because it couldn’t fail to comprehend the human notion of love, but because the rain made its circuits fry.
I think it actually would be adorable to be arrested by a short little egg shaped robotic police officer. Robots are SO gay. Think about it.
Twiki from Buck Rogers? Gay. HAL-9000? Persnickety. Star Wars’ C3PO? Flaming! Even real-life robot ASIMO swishes around like a flaming queen. I think I’ve even seen the Mars Sojourner Red Rover and the Unimate robotic arm getting it on.
Do you have $40 sitting around doing nothing? Well besides investing in your favorite podcast, you can invest it in real estate. Just don’t plan on being around to enjoy it. On today’s show Amanda Steinstein joins Marc Felion and me Fausto Fernós to talk about investment real estate but the really wacky kind.
One firm Lo’ihi Development will sell you a lot of Hawaiian real estate for $40, the catch is that you wont be able to step foot on it for probably three or four millennia, since it’s located 3,000 feet below sea level on a underwater volcano.
Another developer named Dennis Hope has made over NINE MILLION DOLLARS selling acres of land on the moon (as in the one that orbits the earth) for $20. How cute! A piece of paper for $20. He’s sold his lunar land plots to celebrities like Barbara Walters, George Lucas, the deceased Ronald Reagan and even the first President Bush. I don’t know why people think most celebrities mismanage their money.

FOFA #528 – Candy Flavored Crack

We’re not sure how to approach a subject like this. The very disucssion of this sinster idea just might get others to copy it. Should we let this evil pink genie out of it’s brown amber colored bottle?
We’re talking about Strawberry Quick, and no it’s not a drag queen. The newswires are ablaze as people are talking about artificially fruit-flavored, sweeteed sweetened crystal meth as a way for drug dealers to sell meth to kids. I’m not sure if they are just copying the tobacco and liquor companies, or this is just a way of driving interest in the drug among users.
It’s not like you need a marketing campaign to sell crack. Like Chris Rock said in his show “Bring the Pain:”
“Drug dealers don’t sell drugs. Drugs sell themselves. It’s crack. It’s not an encyclopedia. It’s not a f**king vacuum cleaner. You don’t really gotta try to sell crack. Ok? I’ve never heard a crack dealer going “Man, how am I gonna get rid of all this crack?!”
We just saw Spiderman 3 and all I can say is I wish the wacky editor-in-cheif J. Jonah Jameson got his own film, or at the very least more on-screen time. Actor J. K. Simmons (the therapist on Law and Order and a gang leader on OZ) deliciously devours scenery with his cigar-chomping flamboyant arrogance. Having worked in newspaper publishing for over a decade, I personally relished every moment of the characters lunacy, weather it is in the Raimi’s Spider Man moives or when he reprises his role on the Simpsons.
Today we’re surprised as you may be to get a phone call from a long lost friend who used to be on the show! Who is it? Just listen and find out.

Earlier this year in January, American Idol finalist Clay Aiken’s squeaky clean image had a bit of a tarnish when the National Enquirer printed the “sordid” details of his one night stand with North Carolinian real estate agent John Paulus.
A lot of people in the past have declared flamboyant male singers to be gay, even having affairs with them, and in turn have had themselves taken to court. So why didn’t Clay Aiken or his record label sue him? Because John Paulus had inadvertently saved the cum rag.

I can’t wait! We’re on our way to California at the end of the month to tape a Live Podcast in both San Francisco and Los Angeles. Oh, and we’re also going to the People’s Choice Podcast Awards to accept our “Best GLBT” podcast award and find out if we’ve won “Podcast of the Year.”
I thought it would be a good idea to look back on our 400th Live Podcast taped at Micky’s Bar in West Hollywood.
In case you didn’t hear, Micky’s suffered a terrible fire just a few short weeks ago and from what we hear is in the process of rebuilding. (So far their website hasn’t been updated.) We swear we had nothing to do with it despite our natural “hotness.” (more…)

Everybody loves a good gay villain. Openly gay swimmer and video producer Tyler Duckworth got the nation’s disapproval and sympathy for his pushy, aggressive behavior on MTV’s REal World: Key West last spring.
Audiences loved to hate his confrontational nature on the TV show, and we at home were left to think, do they hate him because he’s gay, or beacause he’s a jerk. Was it was all an act?
