Enjoyed hearing from The Mayor himself….and he did answer that age old question of why he is always in a suit! Funny that people don’t recognize him without it…I’m guilty of that as well because I passed him on the street as he was getting ready to get pied at the Equality Illinois event and I barely recognized him!

I loved To Wong Foo, mostly because of Patrick Swayze’s sensitive portrayal of a female impersonator. I love Dirty Dancing, not only because of the great dancing, but also because some of my high school classmates, the owner of my hometown’s dance school, and her two daughters were dance extras in the movie. Patrick Swayze was the icing on the cake.
