Instead of cute Mr. Mackenroth, would they prefer someone wasting away because they smoked crystal meth and didn't take their meds? I think he's pretty much a perfect image for what living responsibly with HIV is like. People who maintain a healthy lifestyle and don't engage in risky behavior can not only have a GOOD quality of life, but an AMAZING quality of life.
