Ok,let’s clear something here…
first off, Kuala Lumpur..pronounced “Coo-a-la Lum (as in PLUME) pur (as in POUR) is the capital city of Malaysia. Kuala Lumpur literally means “muddy confluence” because back during the colonization era, it is a hot spot for tin mining activities. Secondly, “Orang Minyak” is not really a ghost..it’s actually human (read: horny horny MEN) who put black tar all over their bodies and go around harassing other people. The literal translation for Orang Minyak is “Oil Man”. ‘Kain pelikat’ is a type of sarong normally worn by local malay women…
Wikipedia says Orang Minyak is a ghost and they never lie.

it actually amazed me that Beyonce passed the censors here..Also, Black Eyed Peas are also coming to Kuala Lumpur (or popularly known as KL)..too bad i won’t be able to attend both concerts..Also, it is worthy to note that even though Malaysia is a Muslim country, Burka is not common at all here..Muslims here are much more liberal than those from the Middle East.
Amen to that. You got that right.. the Muslim people in KL are more liberal than those who are in some of the conservative states. So it is like comparing Californians to Mississipians. Just my 2 cents . But then I havent been back there in like 11 years so who knows. lol
So does this mean that Beyonce will be showing skin? I doubt that. She may not be in a burqua, but I’m sure she’ll be wearing something that covers her arms and legs.

Oh my God (yeah, sorry about talking His name in vain), I haven’t laughed so much in ages. There have been a lot of great guests recently, but this show still stands out as one of the best. I wish I lived in Chicago so I could attend this inspired service. I joined the church’s page on Facebook though.
I e-mailed the link to this show to several of my friends…HILARIOUS! My favorite part was definitely the song where they were singing about Jesus being “in” them. OMG. I was dying!
