Our hearts are beating a little faster this weekend, as sexy photos of Oscar Winner Dustin Lance Black were posted online, including Perez Hiltons’ celebrity blog. The photos show the screenwriter for the film Milk milking it in very explicit sexual positions, including one where he’s getting a penis going up his rear end without a condom.
Everyone’s in an uproar, some calling for a boycott of Perez Hilton and his advertisers while others are wondering if this is just a publicity stunt to coincide with the DVD release of the film Pedro which was authored by Black.
We’re joined by shirtless video blogger and comedian Keith Ecker to try to make sense of the scandal and the heated response from gay men. Why are so many people so upset?
Has Perez Hilton gone too far or do the photos of Dustin Lance Bareblack just tap into the shame we have over our bodies and our sexual desires?
Is this a fight for who speaks for gay people? Will this ultimately hurt DLB’s career or cement him as a Hollywood sex symbol? What would Harvey Milk have to say about all this?

The Oscar win for the film Milk certainly gives the national gay rights moment a shot in the arm but can we leverage the movie’s success into a comprehensive bill that ensures equality for all Americans?
