Profound, beautiful and emotional- that’s Vermont musician Gregory Douglass.
Upon graduating high school, Gregory was presented by his schools’ headmaster with a music award and an unusual piece of advice: Don’t go to college and just pursue a musical career.
On today’s show Gregory is in the home studio playing songs from his new album Battler. Listen as Gregory talks about how he was forced to edit his scandalous music video “Cathedrals” where he portrays a sexy priest who gets a little gay action on the side.
Gregory’s wrapping up his national tour and heading back to Vermont, one of the recent states to recognize marriage equality. Why’s the Maple Syrup state so sweet when it comes to love?
Cincinnati’s masked superhero the Shadow Hare now has an arch-enemy, and he’s dirt cheap.
Kylie Minouge comes to America, will she bring her red disco skull and sexy male dancers?
Miss Botswana gets the same sex marriage question at a pageant and wins.
And hilarious ways to mess up your resume-by skipping that comma: I LIKE TO COOK, DOGS.
Shoutout to Don & Shawn in Burlington Vermont for encouraging Gregory to come on the show!

Look out people! Ben Lerman’s ukulele is on fire.
The New York based comedian just got back from a stint in Mexico and he’s here today
in the home studio to play four brand new songs, including some he wrote for the ladies.
One song is about the glories of multiple orgasms, how to achieve them and how to make them last.
Another is a tribute to a female friend who gives it to him straight and hard, but is Ben receptive to her advice?
And ey yeow! One his new songs centers around the viral video Two Girls One Cup but doe she scat like Ella?
Plus he’s taking questions from you through Feast of Fun Facebook page.

Musician Kanye West gets roasted by the latest episode of South Park – his response? He says the episode hurt his feelings but is helping him keep his ego in check. In his blog he wrote: “I just want to be a doper person which starts with me, not always telling people how dope I think I am.” Good advice.

Everybody’s flocking to a Zoo in Poland to see their newest star- a gay elephant named Nino. Despite being very affectionate with the males of his species, the ten year old African Bush Elephant has been moved from three zoos because of his quarrelsome behavior with the females. Poor guy, he’s even caught in the middle of a political struggle as a representative from the local right-wing party calls the zoo’s purchase “outrageous.”

Julian Wolkenstein’ fierce pictures of horses wearing hair extensions are becoming all the rage.
Sydney-born Mr Wolkenstein teamed up with hair-stylist Acacio da Silva to whip the horses into shape, reports the Daily Telegraph.
“Each horse took around four hours to groom, with hair extensions being added by Acacio, and then when they were presented in front of the camera’s and lights they would shake their heads, give a neigh and then ruffle up their hair,” he said.
Will they surpass cat wigs in popularity?

On today’s show musician Phil Putnam plays live in our home studio songs from his new album “Casualties.”
Listen as Phil talks with us about living with Tourette’s Syndrome, a neural disorder characterized by physical and vocal tics. It’s often associated with the exclamation of obscene words or socially inappropriate and derogatory remarks.
How does music help his condition and how does he keep it under control?
A former publicist working in advertising Phil also shares with us some great insights into how musicians can harness the power of new media to grow their audience and make money from their music.

A big fire in the neighborhood brought helicopters and lots of sirens which you can hear in the background on today’s show and on the video we made. Our hearts go out to the unfortunate victims at 1040 W Hollywood Ave. Luckily, no one was seriously injured.
We taped the show on Casimir Pulaski Day, Happy CPD! I’m not sure if anyplace in the world other than Chicago celebrates this day honoring the Polish General who died a hero in the American Revolutionary War, but all the school kids and the city workers love him because they get they day off.

Standard Podcast [1:02:19m]:
Tom Goss has finally found his voice and it sounds like heaven.
Tom was a star high-school wrestler and entered college on a wrestling scholarship. For lack of better direction, he studied to be a social studies teacher. He eventually decided to become a Catholic priest as a way to channel his desire for reconciliation and social justice.
Tom entered the seminary but became disillusioned by the institution in which he had placed his faith. He fell in love with a fellow seminarian but he didn’t leave the seminary until he was stalked by another fellow seminarian.
When the stalking escalated, Tom turned him in and he got him kicked out of the seminary. Tom left of his own accord at that time and says he is still stalked by this guy to this day.
Today he’s happy, in love and a rising star in the national gay music scene. He’s been touring the country with his pal Eric Himan and singing his songs about rebirth and renewal, of love and loss and what lies beyond.
We had such a great time hanging out with Tom! Check out the photos we took in our Tom Goss photo gallery. He’s really good looking, funny, charming and a great musician- his second album Rise is one of my personal favorites.
There’s not a bad song in the album. He may not be the priest in any church, but he’s the priest of rock and roll to me and I wouldn’t mind being his altar boy!
Listen as Tom talks about the hypocrisy of the Catholic church, losing his grandpa, following your own path and his passion for social justice.
A deeply moving interview, plus Tom plays live in the home studio just for you!
God spelled backwards is FOF.

We just think Eric Himan is one of the most handsome, attractive, talented, kind, sweet, handsome musicians we’ve ever had the pleasure to have on our show. Did I mention he’s handsome?
Everyone’s favorite folk/soul/rock musician joins us for the third time to shoot the breeze about his music career and his new album “Resonate” which you’ll be hearing FIRST here on the Feast of Fools. We’re so excited about the new album and it’s not even out yet, but you get a sneak peek on today’s show.
Eric is the kind of musician that brings people together. When he first started playing his guitar in his dorm room in his freshman year in college, he quickly saw how music could break down the isolation people felt in college by giving them something to gather around on.
Eric dedicates the song “Little Boy Blue” from his up and coming album to a trans listener who won him over on a tour that included stops at GLBT Youth Centers.
Today Eric hits the top of GLBT music charts and uses his popularity to raise awareness to social issues.
I had such a great time jamming with Eric on the tambourine and getting him to ponders the possibility of creating country song with Shirley Phelps, like some sort of twisted Conway Twitty/Dolly Parton duet.
Join us for a very special unplugged session with Eric Himan as we talk about the future of the music industry, tips on handling stalkers, lyp synching celebs, pre-historic Christians, weird religions, tattoo advice and why corporate gay media shies away from covering their own gay people.
And we have a very special musically enhanced Breakdown 2008.
A hoe-down of good time- Feast of Fools.
Eric’s music isn’t available anywhere yet, but I highly recommend getting his past CD’s on iTunes if you haven’t gotten them already. We’ll let you know as soon as the new album “Resonate” is available.
