Comedian Heather Gold is gay for the internet, and for a whole lot of other things.

On her weekly cutting edge show on the art of social engagement, Heather discusses politics and relationships with web celebrities. The unusually named Tummelvision refers to the Yiddish word, Tummler which is an entertainer or master of ceremonies who encourages audience interaction.

Today we kick off our series of interviews from deep in the heart of Texas in Austin during the South by Southwest Interactive Conference.

As one of the creators of Equality Camp, Heather works to bring tech experts and activists together to organize the gay marriage movement.

Listen as Heather shares with us her take on the queering of this year’s technology conference, techno chickens, how Sarah Palin works the internet and why entertainers need to embrace social media to keep their audience.

High heel shoes, a Louis Vuitton bag held by an arm coming from a man’s nose, a mysterious roll of pink material, a Don Rickles cut out, and a drag queen dressed up as a bunny rabbit, superimposed on a doctor’s report of a sexually transmitted disease: these are all a part of the visual language of Erik Peterson.

What’s this guy trying to say?

Today we look at longtime club personality and visual artist Erik Peterson. Erik’s artwork is part of an Erotic art & performance Exhibit, taking place at IML, the International Mr. Leather Conference & Contest, on Memorial day weekend in Chicago.

Erik’s making the bold statement that everyone’s ability to photograph themselves and share their photos online is ruining the nightclub scene. Is social media making us more self-conscious or is it revealing what’s already been there all along?

Listen as we take a look at:
