Beyonce announced her single ladies video contest. If you can get the choreography down pat you might win $2,500 and your video will air during her concert.
Rosie O’Donnell confessed on the Tyra Banks show that she gave up the booze after her son Parker told her she drinks too much. We really enjoyed watching Rosie crack open a beer and spill her guts on her video blog and now she’s not drinking or video blogging.

I simply can’t stop looking at Maskon.com, one of my all-time favorite websites.
Mask-on is a support site dedicated to trannies who like to “mask.” “Maskers” enjoy cross-dressing as women by using masks instead of make-up to create the illusion.
They don’t really try to fool anyone into thinking they are actual flesh and bones women, but rather they create a look that resembles a living mannequin.
One of my favorites from the photo gallery is Carolyn, who has been cross dressing since the Kennedy Administration and enjoys walks in the park in full masked-up drag. Imagine running into her strolling though the woods!
Many maskers simply repaint a rubber Halloween mask which gives them a very creepy Michael Myers look from the movie Halloween. It’s haunting, scary and very very beautiful.
On today’s show Tracy Tyler gets inspired by the maskers and does her own style from a crude Whole Foods paper shopping bag. I think the look is ravishing, don’t you?
Listen as we talk about Tracy’s favorite YouTube cosmetologist, Clay Aiken’s maybe soon-to-be fatherhood status, molestation syndrome and “My Beautiful Mommy”- the unsettling book that tries to explain plastic surgery to children.

Christmas is the season for stalking hot men! Tracy loves to seek hunky men from her past on the internet, and sometimes it gets her into trouble. Some call it cruising, some call it social networking and others call it stalking.
Tracy also reveals how she once broke up with a guy by dumping him off at a cruisy truck stop in the middle of nowhere.
Tracy shares with us some home beauty regimens — you can eat! Tracy is coming up with all sorts of natural beauty treatments, most of which are edible. Even if you may not be any prettier at the end of the procedure, at least your tummy will be full!
A Harry Potter exhibit at the museum of Science and Industry in Chicago this spring features props from the popular movie series. You’ll be able to gaze at Harry’s glasses, some magical brooms and other bewitching items starting April 30.
Also, the Museum of Broadcast Communications is going down the toilet after honoring fundamentalist radio personality James Dobson. The MBC board of directors voted to sell its half-finished building citing financial woes due to the economic downturn and alleged broken promises by Gov. Rod Blagojevich to provide funding.
On Saturday night, we went to the Chicago premier of the new film Were the World Mine, which is a very gay musical take on some of the elements of Shakespear’s A Midsummer Nights Dream.
The plot revolves around the gay outsider, Timothy, who is cast as the mischievous Puck in all boys production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream. The magic of Shakespear’s play allows him to conjure up a love potion that turns the town gay, including the straight jock he has a crush on. Of course, hijinks ensue with very sexy results.
For calling itself a musical, there really isn’t a whole lot of music in it but it’s still a delightfully cute romp nonetheless.

The legendary Hollywood actress will be honored on September 18, 2008 on the 100th anniversary of her birth as a postage stamp in the Legends of Hollywood Series stamps.
Our lovely gal-pal Tracy generously lent her vocal talents to record a public service announcement for the post office. Listen to the plug on today’s show. It’s based on the scratchy 1980s song by Kim Karnes, “Bette Davis Eyes.”
I asked my mom when I was a kid why Kim Karnes had such a raspy sounding voice and she said “it’s because she smokes.”

The British Giant Penis Man needs your help! The enormous ancient chalk drawing on the British countryside is overrun with vegetation. Government officials are asking for volunteers to do a little manscaping to clean up the spot. Usually grazing sheep do the trick but this year, the rain was so plentiful that the vegetation became so overgrown the sheep couldn’t keep up.
Dirty Politics- have the Republicans cornered the market on crazy in google ad buys? Marc was checking the gmail today and the paid for google link said something like “Biden opens his gaff-filled mouth” and he clicked on it to see what the VP nominee had said. But, the link led to an article that extolled the virtues and general “mommyness” of Sarah Palin. Joe Biden was not once mentioned in the article. Is this some kind of Republican Rickrolling?
Should queer teens have their own high school? Chicago School officials are now pondering the possibility of creating a high school where GLBT students can attend in safety. But the plan is drawing controversy from both inside and outside Chicago’s gay community. Some feel as though kids should be safe no matter which school they attend and others think that gay kids have a right to attend school in a shame free zone.
Talk about a show stopping performance! And we take our tiaras off and give a moment of silence to Texas drag queen Illean Alloverya (pronounced like the plant Aloe Vera) who tragically died towards the end of her final number during a recent AIDS benefit at the Dallas gay bar, the Eagle. What a way to go.
