I can’t believe I’m going to say this, but I’m totally in love with Curtis and if I had ended up in SF instead of Tokyo, I would have wanted to have been his lover. He is so adorable. And I just hated to see that gingerbread house deconstructed. I mean, couldn’t he have put a coat of wax on it and opened up a mini-wax museum in his apartment and charge admission so I’d have a good reason to go there and tell him how cute he is?
Incredible video! I loved that gingerbread house. Since it had to go anyway it was nice to see it go out with some flair. But my favorite part of the video is Curtis’ view. Stunning!
thanks for the VERY nice comments. I don’t have the storage space to really save these things and they are so fragile. The royal icing in particular pops off easily after about a month. Plus its all made of food and loaded with sugar so it would be heaven for bacteria, molds and vermin.
I live on the crest of the hill on Diamond Street above the Castro facing West. That was only a little bit of the view. Its one of my favorite elements of my apartment. That was the upper part of Eureka Valley you were seeing in the video.

So sad to see it go, but I look forward to next Christmas, and your new masterpiece!
wow! that must took a lot of time and work to put it together =P I like to rewind and see it build again its very cool xDD!!
I still want to see curtis sit on the house. Come on Curtis. Godzilla your next creation!
And I think hands down curtis is every gay man’s answer to Martha Stewart on steroids.
THISVIDEO IS gOOD BUT IT IS MISSING ARETHA’S HAT. WHERE IS THE HAT? I THOUGHT LOVED ME CURTIS.
It’s poetry! A beautiful deconstruction!
I agree, Curtis is too sexy! I think though, for next Christmas, a little gingerbread cake-sitting might be in order!
