This video is SOOOO touching. That little girl who sang her own version of Born this Way was on a radio show, and Lady Gaga called in to invite her to sing with her in […]

What a beautiful moment. Thank you for posting this!

I have really changed my opinion of her recently. I still often find her stunts irritating, but it’s hard to think of any other pop star or person of influence promoting such a positive message and interacting with their fans to that extent. I am so happy for this generation, queer and straight youth alike, who get a to talented diva committed to self-acceptance and eccentricity. As a gay teen a decade ago, we only had Britney Spears. Though campy and fabulous, she is no where near as talented and outspoken as Gaga..

Oh to be a gay kid this day and age: social media, RuPaul’s Drag Race, Lady Gaga, Glee…. This is really a great moment.

I KNOOOOW. I feel all mommy-gay when I see how Gaga really reaches out to the little ones. I couldn’t stand her when she first started (circa red-lace, castle/fire mask), but she really does deserve her popularity. More power to her, and I hope she doesn’t let her business or critics make her all jaded.

    • I love Lady Gaga. I hope that her recent partnership with Target helps to bring about the change we need.

Target as a company has donated hundreds of thousands of dollars to ultraconservative Republicans. Their CEO has almost bankrolled koo-koo bird Michelle Bachman’s political career, it makes me question her and Ricky Martin’s sincerity when they say are for LGBT equality but support companies like Target because it helps them financially make even more money than they already do.

If Lady Gaga gets Target to stop being such colossal jerks when it comest to Democracy and funding anti-gay politicians than she really is our savior and deserves all our respect. But if she and Ricky Martin are doing it for the dollar, then they are just trying to have it both ways. I guess nobody’s perfect, and Lady Gaga isn’t perfect either.

It boils down to: will Target kick out their anti-gay, pro-hate Tea-bagger CEO or will they continue to try to have it both ways, but primarily support hateful politicians?

If I buy her album, it certainly won’t be at Target, but on iTunes.

That is too ominous. I’m thinking target is using gay icons to shut gays the fuck up. I still FUCKING HATE Target and Katy Perry! I’ll consider forgiving them when they fucking apologize!

[*As for Ricky, I can’t stop adoring his bon bons. I still love gaga too, but I think there making a deal with the Devil. If they endorse KP, I’m done with ’em!]

Awwww! That was so sweet. I totally believe Gaga was touched by her tribute; there’s something especially heart-rending about the realization that kids look up to you. A pre-teen girl in my UU group nearly fell over herself trying to impress me upon our first meeting, and it’s so surprising and makes you feel so unworthy… oh gawd, I have to go, I’m getting all verklempt!

  4. Andy says:

That is wonderful! I really start to like Lady Gaga.
